Research and Technology Department (R&T) |

According to article 12 of petroleum
industry research system, "Research and Technology
Department" of IFCO was established on 2007 to
conduct research and technology activities in
various sections. The highlights of the general
missions of the department in research system are as
follows:

Defining the projects'
subjects based on the company needs and
identifying their priorities with respect to
the proposals received from various
departments to be offered to the research
council of the company |

2- |
Carrying out the
responsibilities of the research council
secretariat of the company |
|
3- |
Establishing relationship
with NIOC research and technology
directorate to implement the required
coordination |
|
4- |
Preparing the annual budget
of the R&T department |
|
5- |
Reviewing and supervising the way that
research activities are performed in the
company |
|
6- |
Choosing research centers
to sign contract with, supervising the way
the contract is implemented, approving the
achieved results, and applying its results. |

IFCO Research Council |

According to articles 10 and 11 of
petroleum research Act, IFCO research council was
established on 1July, 2007 to deal with the
following issues: |

Reviewing and approving the
company required projects within the
framework of the approved procedures and
regulations |
|
2- |
Reviewing and approving the
annual budget for the R&T department of the
company |
|
3- |
Reviewing the report of
research activities carried out in the
company |
|
