Iran is one of the initial international priorities
for reducing greenhouse gases in the world as high
energy consumption in different sectors and
consequently the green house gases emission.
At the present, we have a joint energy consumption
project in building sector with UNDP. The project
has been prepared for reducing greenhouse gases and
protecting national plan. The PIF and PPG of the
project have already been approved. And we are in
the detailed design stage of the project for
presenting to GEF Council.
